(These measures may change or be adapted in line with Government policy or that of relevant authorities)
Despite the current pandemic, we continue to offer ski and snowboard courses. Sport helps to keep us both mentally and physically fit in our daily lives, it strengthens our immune systems and boosts energy levels. Taking part in sport and exercise outside in fresh air increases and adds to these positive effects. Winter sports in particular can also make it easier to maintain social distancing and reduce the risk of infection.
However, in order to protect you and those around you, we ask you to keep to the following points:
*1. Which rules apply in the winter sports areas?
Railways Germany: Nebelhorn, Fellhorn & Söllereck
2G proof required from 12 years!
Access only for vaccinated and convalescent people
Further information and the exceptions for children can be found on the website of the mountain railways: OK-Bergbahnen
(The 2G + rule is repealed from December 10th, 2021)
2. Course registration - Online.
Booking your course online is absolutely essential. The hiring of material or signing up for a ski or snowboard course in person will only be possible under very special circumstances and at our discretion. By registering for your course online, you will be providing us with your details and will be contactable through the German test and trace system.
In order to reduce time spent in our office to the as much as possible, we ask you to pay for your course in advance.
We also ask that, when possible, course participants who need to try on equipment do so the day before the commencement of their course/lesson.
3. Reservation of Equipment - Online.
We also ask you to reserve and pay for all equipment online. This provides us with all of your details in advance and allows us to speed up the rental process in our shop.
4. Checking-in at our office.
In our ski school office a FFP 2 mask must be worn at all times, except by children under the age of 6. A face covering must also be worn when using public transport and when using or queuing for ski-lifts, gondolas and cable-cars.
We ask that only people who are taking part in one of our course or who are renting material from us enter the office and that 1.5m distance is always maintained between yourself and others. Office staff and customers will be separated by a plexiglass barrier. Disinfectants will be freely available.
5. During the course.
We have altered our course timetable this year in order to avoid a group lunch break and in order to maximise the time spent outside in the fresh air. Our group size will be limited to a maximum of 8 participants. Other than at meeting points, in lifts and in lift queues, there is no need to wear a face mask during the course but we do ask that you keep to our hygiene measures by observing social distancing rules and avoiding being face to face when speaking to others. In order to avoid the formation of large groups of people, we will, for the time being, not be organising children’s ski races or medal presentations. Our children’s ski area is open and operational. The maximum group size does not apply to this area but we will closely monitor group numbers and available space and may stop accepting further bookings. In this area a face covering is not necessary.
6. Returning equipment
When returning equipment, please be sure to bring the hire slip that you received when it was collected. This allows us to offer alternative equipment return stations, with an exterior station being a possibility. After equipment is returned, it will be disinfected.
7. Cancellation
If, after booking with us, you come into contact with someone with possible Coronavirus or if you yourself begin to show Coronavirus symptoms, you can cancel your course without charges and receive a full refund. If, due to health concerns, a course is forced to be cancelled, we will only charge you for the services that you have used. We reserve the right to exclude participants from a course due to health concerns or due to refusal to follow hygiene rules. In this case, we would only charge for the services used.
If legal regulations prevent us from offering courses over a certain period, courses booked for this period can be cancelled free of charge.
It is obligatory to maintain 1.5m distance from others and to follow hygiene rules as recommended by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). Our staff are trained in accordance with current rules and regulations. We recommend downloading the German Government’s Corona-Warn-App so that you can react quickly in case of emergency.
